About Octane Coffee

EVERYTHING OLD IS REDUX AGAIN

When the restless Wally Byam was tinkering around in his garage building individual campers for friends, it was just after the Great Crash of ’29 and Byam’s innovation—a teardrop-shaped tent on wheels—was just the sort of thing that people could travel in comfortably. It even featured unlikely conveniences like a small ice chest and a kerosene stove.

Byam’s Airstream Trailer Company officially went into production in 1932 and eight decades later, Octane Coffee took its converted Land Yacht on the road. Outfitted on the interior exactly like sleek, modern coffee shops you’ll find on any busy thoroughfare, UseOctane.com became a familiar site across Colorado’s Front Range, serving fresh, hot java and iced coffee drinks to crowds at farmers markets and special events.

Demand grew. Today, useOctane.com is spreading the love to coffee drinkers worldwide. We took all the lessons we learned on the road and we’ve put them to work selling specialty beans on the Internet. In fact, we deliver coffee right to your front door.

Our service is old-fashioned, just the way Wally would have wanted. And our proprietary blend, espresso and decaf beans have iconic appeal.

Pour a cup. Now lean in and inhale. The aroma is wooingly nostalgic. It pays homage to a sturdier time when values were honored and a handshake was as good as a contract.

Drink up.
